While in that area -- whether travelling .. or resident -- a worthwhile facility at nearby Pittsfield at the Airport-Industrial Park ... provides an option for Federal Records Research 'the Silvio Conte Center'- for that Genealogy bent -- one sustains; & beat the crowd at Waltham's busy Boston area NARA -US Archives research room.
All are also reachable by the New York State Thruway I-90 and the Taconic State Parkway.
